As part of the festivity, the POEA will hold a consultation-workshop on the revision of the POEA rules and regulations for land-based agencies in its main office, For OFWs visiting and transacting with the POEA, they will be given free medical services, free snacks, entertainment, and raffle prizes. Migrant Workers’ Day is celebrated every 7th of June to commemorate the signing into law of Republic Act 8042 or the Migrant Workers Act of 1995.
